Tis the Season for Revenge

Tis the Season for Revenge Review

I was looking for an easy-to-read spicy Christmas romance and this was it! The plot isn’t overly complicated – she dates her ex’s boss to get back at him and they fall in love.

I’m not usually a fan of an age gap (14 years), but I enjoyed it here. Damien is 42, not a dad, just a working professional that still knows how to have fun (and has lots of money). He treats Abbie WAY better than her ex, and it was nice to see her slowly realize her worth. It’s a bit insta-lovey, but I liked their relationship. And it’s pretty spicy!

The revenge plot was satisfying and I always love an HEA.

This book wasn’t super Christmasy, but I’d definitely recommend it as a holiday read!

“Baby, you were never leaving without me tonight. I needed air. I went for a walk. I was headed back when you found me.” My mouth drops open, and his hand tightens just a hair at the look. “You’re getting it. I told you I’m falling, and I’m taking you with me.”
